1. Nature of the Service
Eth2Mega provides a user interface for interacting with the official canonical bridge between Ethereum Layer 1 and MegaETH. We do not operate the bridge itself, nor do we control the smart contracts or the underlying blockchain protocols. By using this interface, you acknowledge that you are using a tool powered by the official canonical infrastructure.
2. High-Risk Activity
Interacting with blockchain bridges involves significant risks. These include, but are not limited to, smart contract vulnerabilities, network congestion, and potential loss of funds due to technical failures. Bridging transactions are irreversible. Once initiated, Eth2Mega cannot cancel, reverse, or refund any transactions.
3. Transaction Execution & Permanent Lock Risks
Bridge Transactions: Successful bridging depends on the ability to replay calls on the destination chain. In the event that a call consistently reverts (e.g., due to persistent execution failures regardless of the gas limit provided), the transaction may become impossible to complete. Under these circumstances, any ETH transmitted via the bridge will be permanently locked within the StandardBridge contract on the destination chain and will be rendered unrecoverable.
Cross-Chain Swaps: Initiating messages to specific target addresses on a secondary chain involves inherent execution risks. If the destination call persistently reverts, the associated message will be rendered permanently unrelayable. Users must be aware that any ETH included in such messages will be permanently locked and cannot be reclaimed if the relay process fails.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ETH2MEGA AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; (III) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; AND (IV) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the bridge complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. You are also responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet and private keys.
